APPLICATIONS

Once an applicant is accepted into The University of Arizona’s KEYS Research Internship program, he or she is required to read and complete all requisite literature, handouts, and miscellaneous assignments. If a student can no longer participate in the program prior to the start, it is expected that he or she will immediately inform one of the KEYS Directors, Marti Lindsey at lindsey@pharmacy.arizona.edu, 520-626-3692, or Kevin Hall at jkh@bio5.org, 520-626-1367.

Requirements for the internship:
* Have a high school GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 grading scale
* Be at least 16 years of age at the start of the program
* Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident

All of the application materials are evaluated for strengths and special qualifications that demonstrate why the applicant should be selected for an internship. In addition, the most qualified applicants will have had classes in both biology and chemistry.

Interviews may be required.
