POSTER SESSION

The annual KEYS scientific poster session serves as an opportunity for student interns to showcase their accomplishments and gained knowledge, in the areas of bioscience, biomedical science and / or environmental health science.

Family and friends are encouraged to attend the poster session. In addition, faculty from all over the University of Arizona campus will also come to see the new, exciting research the KEYS Interns have been engaged in over the summer.

Students learn Adobe “InDesign” to compose an original scientific research poster, which they will present during the poster session. The presentation is informal, short and conversational, rather then formal.

KEYS personnel guide students through the process of making a unique and visual appealing poster that conveys scientific information that everyone can understand.

Every week students will submit a draft for a particular part of the research poster, which will be reviewed and approved. In the final days of the internship students will be able to gather all the individual parts and piece them together to produce the final poster, which will be printed at the College of Pharmacy, University of Arizona.
